Windsurfing & Funboarding School
The Sports Schools propose the best equipment and facilities for windsurfers. Beginners and advanced surfers alike will be able to enjoy their sport in the best possible conditions. ? For information: ? Full equipment for each age group and level of skill, on loan for use during lessons and courses. Bodrum is a renowned spot for windsurfers throughout the summer months (particularly from June to September). Ideal for funboarders interested in free-riding and slalom, with winds between force 3 and 6 in the afternoon. More gentle winds in the mornings, ideal for beginners and less experienced surfers. Funboard Initiation Package
Beginners
Duration: 2 and a half hours a day for 3 days
If you want to learn the basics, let yourself be guided by our G.O®s, trained in their discipline, and a fun and effective teaching method. 2 and a half hours of tuition a day for 3 days, in groups of maximum 6 people. For windsurfers looking for maximum speed, and new sensations on a board with no keel, this course introduces you to the joys of funboarding and speed.

Funboard Advanced Package
Intermediate/advanced
Duration: 2 and a half hours a day for 5 days
If you want to make serious progress, let yourself be guided by our G.O®s, trained in their discipline, and a fun and effective teaching method. 2 and a half hours’ tuition per day for 5 days in groups of 6 people maximum. Funboarding is a more extreme form of windsurfing, on a shorter board with no keel. It’s more technical and more spectacular. At the end of the course, you’ll be adept at gybing!

Quality teaching by certified instructors or outside operators, to introduce beginners to the sport and enable experienced sailors to perfect their mastery of the sport. Group classes for all levels, 6 days a week, give you the chance to make real progress and master your technique Adapted equipment for each age group and level of skill: Material available (subject to change): Hobie Cat 15 catamarans.

In just a few days, you can learn how to sail safely and enjoy having the wind in your sails! Teaching and practice: recognising and controlling winds, manoeuvring a boat alone or as part of a team, managing speed.

Activity provided by the Discovery center. Rugged underwater terrain with walls, canyons, drop-offs and caves always makes an enchanting decor for divers. Beginners learn to feel their way through the water, accompanied by an instructor, while experienced divers can discover the flora and fauna of the Aegean Sea, with over a dozen sites including mysterious wrecks and amphora.
Departure from Club Med around 8.30 am, back by 2 pm (on Wednesdays departure one hour earlier, at 7.30 am). Transfer to diving spots included in the price.
The Aegean Sea is great diving territory for both beginners and experienced divers, with plenty of variety, including open water and wreck diving. The coast around Bodrum has over 20 beautiful diving spots, which will be chosen on a daily basis depending on the weather conditons.
The main ones are:
- Büyük Bango (Big Reef)
Minimum depth 4m (13ft) / maximum depth 32m (105ft). This is the main diving spot. Beginners’ dive, minimum 4m, from Black Island (Karaada).
You should get the chance to see moray eels, octopus, groupers, and if you’re lucky, loggerhead turtles. The spot is also recommended for experienced divers.
- Küçük Bango (Small Reef)
Minimum depth 5m (16ft) / maximum depth 30m (100ft). This spot is 200m from Big Reef. Beginners’ dive from 5m.
From the boat, you should be able to see the same species of fish as at Big Reef.
Also recommended for experienced divers.

PADI Rescue Diver
Duration: 2 days
This course will increase your knowledge and experience, beyond the level required for recreational diving. You’ll learn about divers’ safety and well-being.
Over a period of 2 days, the course inlcudes:
- 2 practical lessons in the sea or pool
- 4 accompanied sea dives
It does not include:
- The PADI kit (diploma certificate, dive logbook, theory and practice training manual)
- Drinks and photos
- Lunch on board

Minimum stay: 3 days
Minimum age: 14 Age
PADI Open Water
Duration: 4 days
For beginners or holders of the PADI Scuba Diver diploma: PADI Open Water will allow you to start diving with the buddy system.
Over a period of 4 days, the course includes:
- 3 practical lessons in the sea or pool
- 4 accompanied sea dives
- Full equipment (wetsuit, cylinders, lead belt, stab jacket, diving regulator, flippers, mask and snorkel), instruction and boat trips.
It does not include:
- The PADI kit (diploma certificate, dive logbook, theory and practice training manual).
- Drinks and photos
- Lunch on board
Minimum stay: 4 days
Minimum age: 10 (children between 10 and 14 may do the PADI Junior course)
PADI Scuba Diver
Duration: 2 days
This diploma authorises you to dive to a maximum of 12 metres, with a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor.
Over a period of 2 days, the course includes:
- 2 theory sessions (in the water and on land)
- 2 accompanied sea dives
- Full equipment (cylinder, lead belt, wetsuit, stab jacket, dive regulator, flippers, mask and snorkel), instruction and boat trips.
It does not include:
- The PADI kit (diploma certificate, dive logbook, theory and practice training manual).
- Lunch on board
- Drinks and photos
Minimum stay: 2 days
Minimum age: 10 years
PADI Advanced Open Water
Duration: 3 days
Minimum level required: CMAS 1 Star, PADI Open Water.
Over a period of 3 days, the course includes:
- 5 accompanied sea dives
- 5 theory sessions
- Lunch on board
It does not include:
- The PADI kit (diploma certificate, dive logbook, theory and practice training manual).

You don’t have to be a diver to enrol on this one-day course. Everyone needs to know how to react in an emergency. Includes theory, practice and video.
