Discover the treasures of the Caribbean Sea. From the Resort beach and “on demand”, head for the best spots. Pepe Reef, where parrot fish, nurse sharks and huge sea fans provide the show. Visit the Patricia shipwreck, where you can find barracuda, groupers, rays and tropical fish. Go to Coral Garden to marvel in corals and sponges in the translucent waters.

Fauna and flora: cCome immerse yourself in the waters that divide the Atlantic Ocean from the Carribbean Sea which boast a wide variety of marine species to amaze you. During our dives, you will admire the countless submarine landscapes and coral formations. We also have various shipwrecks that enhance our explorations with the chance to see hawksbill sea turtles, nurse sharks and schools of fish that inhabit the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

A few examples of spots:

“Patricia Wreck” (depth 22 metres (72 ft)): this wrecled tugboat is home to an extraordinary variety of fish including barracudas, groupers, angel fish, rays and parrot fish.

“Coral Garden” (depth 17 metres (55 ft)): a drift dive among the sponges and coral formations.

“Pepe Reef” and “Veril Reef” (depth 15 metres (50 ft)): parrot fish, nurse sharks and sea fans…

“Aquarium Naturel”: situated between the first and second coral reefs, with a maximum depth of 11 metres, this dive site is preserved by the Grupo Punta Cana Foundation. It offers the chance to see a range of underwater sights such as crevasses and numerous types of small tropical fish, with excellent visibility.

“Enriquillo”: this site is 20 minutes from Club Med, near to the Dominican coast in the Mona Passage that separates the Dominican Republic from Puerto Rico. It centres on a cargo ship that was deliberately sunk to create a coral reef 17 metres under the surface, with a moderate to strong current. This dive spot allows you to see countless varieties of tropical fish (barracudas, angel fish and more). This dive is recommended for those with Open Water certification.

Stand Up Paddleboarding

Stand Up Paddle boarding is done in the sea, close to the shore. The paddle boarder stands on a large surfboard and paddles, the difficulty being to keep your balance (originally the paddle boarder used his arms like a surfer).

At the excursions desk you can hire a boat for an hour or longer.

The hourly boat hire (maximum 6 people on board) only includes the driver and the equipment (Skis and Wakeboard).
